• Silco Shield® firesleeve with hook and loop closure is made of high-quality
• fiberglass yarns woven in a flexible substrate and coated with a high-grade
• silicone rubber designed to protect hoses and cables from the hazards of high
• heat continuously up to 500°F (260°C) and occasional molten splashes at 2200°F
• (1200°C). Its hook and loop closure allows installation in-situ without the need
• to dismantle and reconnect fittings or terminations, enabling easy retrofits into
• existing systems and repairs in tight spaces that avoid costly downtime and
• minimize installation labor. Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and
• fuels, our high-temperature firesleeve insulates against energy loss in piping and
• hosing, protects employees from burns, and shields cables and hoses from molten
• metal splashes and heavy sparks. Metal turnbuckles and snaps are also available
• as alternatives to the hook and loop closure.
